1. Review the Student Orientation Information Booklet. We encourage you to print the entire document for an all-inclusive reference.
  2. Once you have reviewed the information in the booklet, please complete the Confirmation Form.
  3. Print the Unit Orientation/Safety Checklist. Please note, this form is to be completed the first day of your placement then returned to your school instructor to be kept on file at the school. This checklist will help to ensure that you are properly oriented to the specific area you will be completing your affiliation assignment.
  4. Review the Nursing Student Skills Guidelines Flier.
  5. Print the Nursing Student Skills Guidelines Card, and keep it with you any time you are in a clinical area.
  6. The Student Orientation must be completed each fiscal calendar year (January – December).
